Everyone seen this news?!?!

the increases look high but I reckon the prices in the press are list prices before all the pharmacies start competing.

The mail has prices I’ve never paid.

The profit for the drug companies and the pharmacies are going up surely?

Jump in!

List price is the “official” price Lilly charges wholesalers before discounts. Pharmacies usually pay less and then set their own prices, so what you see in the news isn’t what most people actually pay. But if the list price jumps, pharmacy prices almost always rise too.

I’m really worried about what we’ll actually end up paying.
Even with pharmacy competition, a jump in list price usually means we pay more, and I’m not sure I can afford it if it’s much higher.
Has anyone heard what the real post-September prices might be?

Ah, perfect. Mounjaro – now brought to you by the “If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it” club.
Soon they’ll only dispense it in gold-plated pens at Harrods, right after your personal shopper hands you the Dom Pérignon.

Guess the rest of us can just enjoy the free fantasy weight loss that comes from stress and skipping dinner.

This is bad news. I've ben on an 8 month journey and now I am probably going to have to give up....and I am not ready to. Mounjaro has turned my life around, what am I meant to do now!!!!!! 1 months notice is unfair given we are buying a month in advance. Not happy and worried..... 😠 😠 😠

Like all drug dealers - get us hooked and then hike the price up!

I’m on 7.5mg now & about to go up. I’m really worried about how I’m going to afford it. Maybe I’ll switch Wegovy. It’s really stressful.

I honestly don’t know what I’ll do if prices really go up this much.
I’ve been on Mounjaro for almost a year and it’s the first time I’ve managed to lose weight and keep it off. If I have to stop now I’m scared the weight will come back.

It feels like I’m stuck. I don’t want to quit but I don’t know how I’ll afford it.

I’ve just seen the news about the MJ price increase.

This is a disaster for me.i don’t know how they can do this to us.

We have all started with this drug to lose weight and feel better and now multi billion drug firms hit is with an insane price increase.

#devestatesbythenews#help

I really hope I can find a deal as

Just read that article… five grand a year? Seriously? That’s mad. How are normal people meant to keep this up.

Feels like we’re getting priced out of our own health.
