At what point did everyone start buying new clothes? Had to put my raincoat on from last year HUGE (yay!)....gone from 16 to 14 ......want to be 12. I'm thinking about holding out....but last years summer stuff is going to look laughable. I work in a professional setting so its going to be noticeable!!!

Ooooh. Well done! That must feel great 🤣 🤣 TBH I have saved favourites from the past that I can't wear anymore (way too small) so my goal is to get back into them for a start.......DH has been on at me to get rid of them for years so I will enjoy showing himwhy I kept them!!!

Love this thread 👚 I’m in that awkward in-between too — nothing fits quite right, either too baggy or just off. I caved and got a couple of basics that work now and should still fit at 12. Stretchy waist trousers = lifesaver. Also, charity shopped some nice stuff so I don’t feel bad if it’s temporary. You’re smashing it btw, 16 to 14 is amazing! 👏

I’m holding out too but it’s getting tricky! Living in flowy dresses and hoping no one notices 😂 Huge congrats on the drop, that’s such a good feeling!

The biggest joy....is not having to only wear trousers with elasticated waists. I always felt like a toddler!!

Yes its great isn't it finding out your clothes are too big, well done - it feels so good!

Agree charity shops are a great interim to grab a few bits that fit again until you want to invest more into a new wardrobe of smaller clothing - exciting!
