Hello Slimrchat Community
So happy I found this site! I have been thinking about trying weight loss drugs for a while, but I am bit nervous about it given things i see in the press and on social media. I am really keen to chat with you and feel more confident in making the leap into taking weight loss drugs.
My biggest worry is around injecting as I don't like needles! Does it hurt? Is it easy to inject? Wheres the easiest place to inject?
Big thanks from me who really wants to be skinny so needs to get over her fear of needles 🙃
Hi Stella
i feel your fear, I am not keen on needles either but I have to say it’s easy to do and painless. The needle is tiny so nothing to be worried about 😊 you got this 👊🏻
I started with injecting my thigh but found I was bruising a little so switched to my tummy and no bruising at all. Just to reassure you I bruise very easily so this might just be something I’ve experienced with thigh injecting. Hopefully some of the community here can help you too with how they got on with it.
@skinnystella....we've all had those fears starting on this journey.....my best advice is that the results trump all those fears. Focus on that, if you really want to get rid of weight and reshape your health then those fears are easy to overcome. The reality anyway is that the injectable pens make it easy and much less scary to 'inject'....i hate injections but I don't even think about the injection anymore....second nature now!
BTW this community is great for support.....so good to have somewhere you can share all those silly thoughts we have and get some great advice! good luck!!!
So I took the plunge and have been on my journey for almost 2 months now and I just want to say a BIG thank you to the SlimrChat community as I had been reading all the hints and tips and its really helped me start the journey and I am so pleased to report that my weight has started to reduce and I am slowly starting to feel better about myself 😊 Still a long way to go, but I am thrilled I am on MJ and the success I am having so far and really happy to share with you all and all the new community members.
As everyone has said, don't think of needles think of the end result! The pens are not bad and nothing like a needle and syringe scenario. Its pretty much painless. Good luck!
