Everyone seen this news?!?!

the increases look high but I reckon the prices in the press are list prices before all the pharmacies start competing.

The mail has prices I’ve never paid.

The profit for the drug companies and the pharmacies are going up surely?

List price is the “official” price Lilly charges wholesalers before discounts. Pharmacies usually pay less and then set their own prices, so what you see in the news isn’t what most people actually pay. But if the list price jumps, pharmacy prices almost always rise too.

I’m really worried about what we’ll actually end up paying.
Even with pharmacy competition, a jump in list price usually means we pay more, and I’m not sure I can afford it if it’s much higher.
Has anyone heard what the real post-September prices might be?

Ah, perfect. Mounjaro – now brought to you by the “If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it” club.
Soon they’ll only dispense it in gold-plated pens at Harrods, right after your personal shopper hands you the Dom Pérignon.

Guess the rest of us can just enjoy the free fantasy weight loss that comes from stress and skipping dinner.
