Has anyone compared the cost of Mounjaro and Wegovy properly?
I’m just wondering if one tends to work out a lot cheaper than the other once you get past the first-month offers. Curious what people have found.
You can get the price difference on here - on the comparison page. Wegovy is cheaper for sure. It's not as effective as MJ tho. I'd def chnage to it if MJ got any dearer. Plus the Wegovy pills are comign soon aren't they?
I would set yourself a weight target you want to hit and check both and if Wegovey can help you hit it. Go with that - its cheaper but not as effective...but you will lose weight.
Interesting takes above… but I’m not sure it’s quite that simple.
From what I’ve seen, it’s less “Wegovy = cheaper” and more “it depends where you end up on dose and how long you stay on it.” The gap can swing either way over time.
Feels like a bit of a false economy to pick purely on price if one gets you there faster (or keeps you there).
Anyone actually tracked total cost over, say, 6–12 months? That’s probably the real comparison.
