Hey everyone 😊 Just thought i would share that my experience of meal plans is they become very rigid and and predicatable and ;life isn't like that...so they didn't work for me.....good to start with but I soon lost motivation. However, I found that sustainable weight loss starts when you build your own meals and know how to eat for life...so knowing what to eat on busy days, low appetite days, travel days and days when cooking isn't going to happen! Buidling you knowledge of foods and what to eat and what to avoid is sooooooooooo important.

This sounds like a good idea - I’ll work on my “knowledge food bank “ to try to ensure I make the right choices 👍

@moot : I found meal plans a good way to help me get started. It helped take decision making out of the equation which I needed.....because if left to my own devices I would have started to add things that I shouldn't (certainly to begin with) so it was a good way to get me on the 'straight and narrow' but as I have learned more on food choices and food noise has died down, I agree that you want more flex....and that is easier now because I generally have much better options at home....a lot of the c**p has gone! Actually, writing this makes me realise how much I have changed food-wise. yay!!
