I've lost about a stone now so I'm trying to get myself doing some exercise. I don;t know where to start. Anyone got tips!? (Needs to be gentle at first but Isaw that doing some form of weight trainign would be good)

I think the best advice is start off slowly and build over the next couple of months. There are lots of sources that you can access on exercising at home for instance....the NHS have a bunch of videos which is a good place to start: link here
Then as you get more comfortable start building a routine and maybe even think of joining a local class or something. The important thing is don't overdo it or set your sights too high to begin with.....
