Curious to know how people are handling alcohol while on GLP-1s like Wegovy or Mounjaro? 🍷🍻
I’ve definitely cut back without really trying — just don’t crave it like I used to. But on the odd occasion I do have a drink, it hits way harder than before 😳
Have you kept drinking, quit completely, or found a balance that works? And has anyone noticed it triggering side effects or messing with progress?

I’ve had a really similar experience. I didn’t plan to cut back on alcohol, but once I started Mounjaro, I just stopped wanting it. When I do have the odd drink, it definitely hits harder and faster than it used to — and I feel it the next day more too.
I’ve also noticed it can mess with my appetite a bit the day after, almost like it resets the progress I’ve made with food control. So now I just save it for very occasional social stuff, and even then I go easy.
Feels like one of those unexpected side benefits in a way — less booze, more balance!
