I read this week that a new study claims weight loss drugs have a cancer reducing benefit....but when I read the article it seemed to really be saying that being slimmer reduces cancer risk for overweight people. Is that right? Anyway, i didn't realise that being overweight increased cancer risks....makes you think doesn't it.
I didn't realise that. I just searched found this website, i thinks its US : https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/risk/obesity/obesity-fact-sheet but basically something like 8% of cancers are obesity related including breast cancer and liver cancer. If that isn't motivation to lose the bingo wings I don't know what is. For me these drugs have given me a a reall motivation to get rid of my excess weight....and it works so far
The Mounjaro feels like some wonder drug - sheds weight, reduces addiction, cuts cancer risk.....waiting for the proof it reduces ageing 🤣
