I have been on Monj for about 16 weeks, I've been on 10mg for about 2 months - I'd gone up to 12.5 for 2 weeks but couldn't handle the nausea. Anyway, I've consistently lost weight on 10mg until a couple of weeks ago and now seem to have plateaued. I haven't changed anything, probably exercised a bit more actually. Anyway, should I go up to 12.5? I'm a bit anxious about the nausea......anyone got any advice? TIA

What did you do? I’m on a plateau (wk 8 5mg). Assume I have to go up ?!

I’ve found it’s easy to get complacent about meal planning when you start to rely on “just not being hungry”.  It’s led me to plateau too. I’m not putting on weight, but I’m stuck on the same dose (5mg Mounjaro) to stand still.

I’ve had to admit that I’ve fallen back into poorer food choices, but just less of them, so I need to look at my diet despite being generally less hungry. It’s a lot of money to spend to stay still!

I find on days when I’m really busy, I really don’t miss eating, so I’m guessing there’s an emotional element to my bad food choices too - boredom or compensation eating. I’ve been on Mounjaro for 10 months now, and have lost a good amount of weight, but some recent tough personal challenges have made me realise my emotional eating habits are not entirely under control.
I went up to 7.5mg for a couple of months but had a few nausea and stomach incidents that made me go back to 5mg. I’m considering trying again going up to 7.5mg for a month then on to 10mg to really get the weight loss underway again.

Just chiming in. I had the same wobble when I hit a plateau on 10mg. Upping to 12.5mg made me queasy at first, but splitting meals smaller and adding a bit of ginger tea helped loads. Hang in there – your body might just need a nudge!

Same here, I found the move up led to harsher nausea but that went and I did then lose weight. You can always go back down if it really doesn't work. I'd definitely have a conversation with your GP
