Anyone else seen / know anything about whether we need to inform our car / travel insurance companies about being on MJ?   I saw a post on instagram by a random but I haven't been able to find anything else on it and I wondered - does anyone know do we need to let the car/travel insurance company know?   Any info would be gratefully received, thanks everyone 😊

I was told it depends on whether the drug is being taken as part of a preexisting condition or if it is being taken for personal reasons only and has not been prescribed by a doctor. if its for a preexisting condition you need to tell the insurers about the condition anyway and then it was less clear if you had personally decided you needed the weight loss drugs - best to err on the side of caution and tell them. No doubt that will push up your premiums, any excuse......don't get me started on the increas ein insurance premiums on EVERYTHING!!!!

Thanks @Emma G, totally get the point around taking the drug due to a medical condition and needing to advise the insurance company. So many of us though deciding we want to lose weight and getting the drugs from an online pharmacy etc under medical guidance but given its not because of a specific medical condition/pre existing condition, wondering if the insurance company needs to know otherwise they could try to invalidate any claims we make whilst on the drug..... mmmmmm interesting one.

If anyone else knows the answer, please do share, many thanks 😊
