Hey lovelies – need your help!

I’m on Mounjaro and doing well so far, but juggling a full-on job and a long commute means I need easy high-protein snacks that won’t mess with the treatment. Ideally something I can chuck in my bag, doesn’t need a fridge, and won’t stink up the train lol.

So far I’ve been living on boiled eggs and protein bars, but getting a bit bored now. What’s in your snack stash that actually keeps you going and works with this lifestyle?

Hit me with your go-tos please!

Quick one I wanted to share — I picked up one of these Yeti Daytrip lunch boxes and it’s honestly been a game changer.

Before that I was living off whatever I could shove in my bag that didn’t need chilling. Now I’m packing stuff like Skyr, boiled eggs, proper chicken strips, even those Aldi protein puddings without worrying they’ll go warm or weird.

It’s made a big difference to the quality of what I’m eating during the day. More variety, more protein, and I’m not just grabbing a bar or crisps cos it’s convenient. Worth it if you’re commuting or out all day and want to stick to decent food.

Mate, totally feel you. I’ve been on Mounjaro a couple of months and work long shifts with barely time to breathe, let alone cook. My grab-and-go stash lately has been

  • Roasted chickpeas – crunchy, high protein, don’t go off
  • Babybel lights – surprisingly decent for protein and don’t melt as quick as you’d think
  • Turkey jerky or biltong – easy protein hit, just watch the salt...not everyone's taste i know
  • Tinned tuna sachets – the lemon or chilli ones, no stink, no mess
  • Protein oat b***s – I batch-make them on Sundays, oats, peanut butter, scoop of protein powder, stick ’em in the fridge....and I really like these
  • Almonds + a square of dark choc for when I fancy something sweet without going full biscuit tin

Still do the odd protein bar, but mixing it up keeps things way more enjoyable. The Yeti lunch box tip sounds a good bit of kit....gonna investigate that!
