Has anyone got any recommendations for vitamin supplements and what you think they are good for. My appetitite is low and I feel i should be 'boosting' my nutrient intake....TIA!

Hey @00heaven, good on you for thinking about vitamins and nutrition

Just a quick thought. Before adding supplements, it might be worth checking if you're actually eating enough. When your appetite is low, it is easy to fall short on calories, and that can slow things down or lead to more muscle loss than you would want. Try logging your food for a few days and see how it lines up with your plan. It can be really useful

If you're not getting enough overall, even the best vitamins cannot fully make up for it

That said, lots of people take Vitamin D during the darker months. It is one of the most common ones to add. But making sure you're fuelling your body properly is the best place to start

Hope that helps

By the way, I forgot that if you eat little or no animal products, it might be worth looking into a B12 supplement. It’s one of the few vitamins that’s hard to get from plant-based foods alone, so even with a generally healthy diet, levels can end up low without you realising it.
