Hey everyone,
I'm just starting my journey with weight loss treatments, and I'm looking for an app that can help me track my progress. I want something that's available in the UK, and ideally, I'd like an app that helps me monitor my weight, measurements, and any other relevant details like activity levels or food intake. I’ve tried a couple of apps in the past, but they didn’t quite fit what I needed, so I'm hoping to get some recommendations from you guys.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Hey, I use 'MyFitnessPal' for tracking food and exercise, but it also helps me keep track of my weight progress. It’s really easy to use and you can sync it with other apps like Fitbit if you have one. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it’s been a game-changer!
I’ve been using 'Lose It!' which has a great feature to track weight and set goals. It also gives you a snapshot of your progress with charts and all that, which really motivates me. Definitely recommend giving it a go!
I’ve tried a few apps like 'Health Mate' and 'Carrot Fit,' but honestly, I found them a bit too basic. I want something that tracks progress across multiple areas. Anyone else tried 'Yazio'? I heard it's good for tracking meals and weight!

I've been using 'Fitbit' for a while, mostly for steps, but I also use it to track my weight and sleep patterns. It’s nice because it feels like a whole wellness app, and not just focused on weight loss. Plus, it reminds me to stay active!
I use 'Happy Scale' for tracking my weight. It's a bit different as it smooths out the ups and downs, which is really helpful if you're like me and the scales don’t always show progress in a straight line. It’s available in the UK too, so you should definitely check it out.
Anyone tried 'Noom'? It focuses on behaviour change more than just tracking calories and weight, so I found it really helpful in building habits. It’s a bit pricey, but it could be worth it depending on how deep you want to get into your weight loss journey.
I’ve been using 'Cronometer' to track my food intake. It’s really accurate for showing all the vitamins and minerals in your food, which helps me make sure I’m getting the right nutrients while losing weight. It might be a bit more detailed than some apps, but I find it useful.
Ooh, I’ve never heard of 'Happy Scale,' but I love the idea of smoothing out the weight fluctuations. Going to try that! Thanks for the recommendation, Mike!
Just downloaded 'Yazio' and I love it! It’s pretty intuitive and tracks your macros too. Will see how I get on with it over the next few weeks!
I’m on the lookout for something more motivational. Is 'Noom' really as good as it sounds? I heard they offer personal coaching too?
If anyone’s into tracking sleep as well, the 'Fitbit' app has some nice insights. I think the more data you can track, the easier it becomes to see how everything is connected in your journey.
Yazio sounds great! I'll check it out. I’ve been looking for something that tracks my macros more closely, and that might be the one for me.
You should check out 'Carrot Fit' for its quirky approach. It’s got funny reminders and a personality, so it keeps me entertained while I track my progress. I think it helps me stay on track because it adds some fun to the process.
