Question for anyone who has fasted: I just started a 72hr fast. I heard it rids of toxins and other benefits - whats everyones experience?
I find fasting amazing. I ride the hunger waves and after 24 hours find the hunger subsides. I fast for 36 hours twice a week. I hoped the jabs would help more than it does with this, but the hunger is the same. It’s only when I eat, that the suppression kicks in.
It’s been shown to help with, the after weight loss, dreaded loose skin. My brain fog also decreases after 24 hours.
I think of it as the healing time for my body and it allows my digestion to catch up with itself now that everything is moving much slower in there.
Personally, I am not sure there is evidence that fasting rids your body of toxins; i think if you eat clean your body will de-tox. But fasting has supposedly lost of other benefits like insulin regulation cell regeneration you should google. previously I had done 72hr fasts every month but now i find that fasting stalls my weight loss so i reduced them to 36hr.....partly becasue when i come off the MJ I will continue to fast
I would google the dangers of fasting before considering it . Its not just a danger to heart health, there are lots of other dangers.....I don't think you need to do it on the Monj.....eat so your body is getting the right nutrients...
Yes, I was always told not to fast on Mounjaro becasue it can exacerbate some of the side effects like nausea and the drugs reduce your appetite anyway. I'd be careful fasting.
Fasting allows your body to have a break from breaking down food and there are lots of known health benefits to fasting. I find that being on MJ I naturally fast as my eating is during a limited timeframe of 10-12 hours in the day.
